If you check our www.dare2audition you will find this site post reputable agents, photographers, directors etc with acting & audition tips and heaps or auditions. They have every thing you need to self manage which is what I recommend. Having an agent is necessary but don't just rely on them to get you work you need to learn how to get your own work to as they have their top 5 who get all the choice auditions that's why sites like the one above are so successful they teach you to partly self manage and negotiate discounts with all sorts of acting,singing and dancing schools all over australia. They have a guide "Australian Audition Guide" full of acting & audition tips with interviews with professional actors sharing their secrets of how they became successful. They also have writing compeitions I think their is one starting sometime soon and they give great prizes away. I'm one of their members as if you can't already tell, but I am impressed they have everything we need to get that start. Cause that's the hardest part, also theirs a lady in brisbane margi at 4change that has audition & acting classes she is a psycologist (cant spell it) and helps up and coming actors get their head together. She may have a contact address on Dare2Auditions site.

Dare2Auditions reputable agents category has agents that are members on the Australian Arts Alliance that agree to abide by a perticular set of laws and rules. Dare2Audition has all the rules posted in either the forum or "Industry Information" section of their site. Hope this is of assistance Bye
