Sheez was this a popular show? Even the waiting list was sold out! I understand the U2 ticket scalpers have been making a killing on "Cloudstreet".Please, for the benefit of those of us that didn't get to BOCS quick enough could someone post a review? Thanks
Grant

I hate to rub it in for those of you unfortunate to have missed Cloudstreet but I have to agree with Grant (Garry? sorry don't , word for word. It was the best play I have ever seen. I was lucky enough to go on Friday the 13th a cool night, also a full moon so that end scene was spectacular with the moon on the water, sure got those tears that were just trickling down my face to flooding down my face.I loved the older actors with the younger ones they complemented each other so much and gave the play a beautiful rhythm. I was blown away at what the actors gave us, so much energy and always in the character, especially given that nearly all of them had to play two or three roles, play music, do sound effects and set changes. I thought this play had the potential to be a technical nightmare but if there were any problems we never saw them. The music was also fantastic - Iain Grandage is a genius.I loved Kevin Smith as the 'story teller' he was wonderful.Word has it, that Cloudstreet will be doing the overseas festival tour after Adelaide and it is expected that they will do so well they will have continous seasons o/s and will never come back to Australia. Great for them but not for us.P.S. I also fought the bastards for the aisle seat in the fifth row!!!RegardsJudi
