The Beat Goes On

I want to laugh just thinking about 'The Beat Goes On' What an incredibly funny show. Johnny Grim and the Insane crew have really raised the bar with this one. If laughter is the best medicine, then TBGO is by far the best comedy to hit the community theatre scene for some time. If aussies were wiping away their tears (as in my wifes case) I dread to think how an audience peppered with english folk will react! The soccer gags and one liners were seemingly never ending and priceless!! I was told some of the cast were first timers, which ones??!! I suspect the show would have been somewhat shorter if not for the constant laughing interruptions, well done to the cast for their composure during those times, and for the skillful timing, a treat to watch indeed!! To Johnny Grim, great write, Ill have an ounce of whatever your on!! and to the Insane crew, superb effort all round!! Anyone who misses this show will be kicking themselves! All the best for your shows at the Don Russell this week and at Midland the following week. The Sandmans advice: Forget your medication for a night and make the effort to see 'The Beat Goes On'
