Tonight I saw Black Swan Theatre's production of "Twelfth Night" at the Playhouse Theatre.  WOW !!

Now I don't normally like to write reviews, but in this case, I enjoyed every moment of this show (so did the rest of the audience) that I wanted to be able to share my experience with you all.

I am definitely no scholar of The Bard !  And I have always been a fan of Bell Shakespeare... but this production even topped Bell for me !

It's a modern version of Twelfth Night, and what my friends and I all agreed upon is that we could easily follow and understand every word and every character was unique, believable and you could not fault a single one of the cast.  I had no idea I was going to laugh so hard and so much this evening !

I am willing to say that this is the BEST Shakespeare show that I personally have ever experienced, and is likely to be the best show I have EVER seen!!!

The entire cast were all so outstanding!  Congratulations to Renee Hale, Stuart Halusz, Brendan Hanson, Luke Hewitt, Kirsty Hillhouse, Geoff Kelso, Ingle Knight, Samantha Murray, Will O'Mahony, Kelton Pell, Kenneth Ransom, Kazimir Sas, Steve Turner and Amanda Woodhams.  I was fortunate enough to be able to congratulate the director Roger Hodgman after the show...

This show has so much fine character detail and the comic timing brilliant!

I noticed that myself and many others watched with such intent we were on the edge of our seats.

I don't know if I have ever said this about any show - but it is one that I would quite happily and enthusiastically see again and again !

It is my opinion this show will sell out from pure word of mouth, so make sure you book your tickets and you too will experience this brilliant production.

The season runs till August 8 and bookings are through BOCS 9484 1133 - Book Online
