I Love You, Bro By Adam J A Cass Directed by David Berthold Presented by La Boite Roundhouse Theatre, Kelvin Grove Urban A 14-year-old boy incites his own death through an internet chat room. The murderer, a 16-year-old boy, believes he is carrying out the killing for the secret service. Sound like fiction? It isn’t. Adam J A Cass has written this brilliant play based on the unbelievable attempted murder that took place in Britain in 2003. Cass’s script is detailed and thorough, and Leon Cain as Johnny, the 14-year-old boy, understands his role with great depth. This one-man show was 70 minutes of pure kick that had me on the edge of my seat and my full attention until the end. Johnny has a rocky home-life and finds his escape in an online chat room...
