All Shook Up- A Review

Mon, 22 Sept 2008, 06:24 pmI wish to re-iterate Jeff's reply. "Almost every community theatre group in Perth".
If there are ANY student T.I.T.'s (tech's in training), set-builders, painters, props people, stage managers or even just "hands" willing to get involved and take part, EVERY community theatre group in Perth would welcome them with open arms.
Although we are from separate clubs, Jeff would have to agree that he and I are probably two of the youngest techs that are permanently involved with Community Theatre.... and I'm 50 (ish)! It is a sad fact that most community theatre groups rely on (sorry guys) retirees to build and run their shows. Having someone we can share the load with would be a Godsend!
As Jeff has already stated, if anyone has the desire to help with any of the technical aspects of theatre, contact him, I would like to add my name to the list and also add that if those interested check the companies section of this site to find a group close to home, I can assure you, you will not be turned away, nor will you leave unrewarded.
Once again MESH, regardless of your origins (and who really cares?) thank you for assisting and encouraging the youth of our community to get involved in something that they can enjoy for the rest of their lives.
"Be nice to your Tech's - or they'll turn out the lights and go home!"
