As part of the Perth International Arts Festival, 'The Turning' is now showing at the Playhouse Theatre until 8th March. Adapted from novelist Tim Winton's written works, it has a distinct Australian feel to it, covering themes such as the ocean, family life and our treatment of the world. Twelve of the seventeen self-contained stories were written by long-standing writer/performer/director guru Bill McCluskey, and the play as a whole covers many social issues that can inflict on our daily lives as Australians. http://tinyurl.com/2nllw4
