‘Reprehensible - Parts 3 and 4’ by Luke Milton and Prickly Pear are showing each evening at 8.00 pm at The Blue Room, Northbridge until Saturday 21st April.

Frank finds that his estranged wife, Jeanette, is to appear topless in a play. Thinking that it will be a good way to attract females and fame, he decides to write a True Blue Aussie play of his own, finely honing the parts - with all his skill – to match his carefully selected cast. When Jeanette turns up with her two friends (Tegan Mulvany and Daniel Gillett) who are ‘natural’ actors, then Frank decides to modify his script. Both Jeanette’s and Frank’s plays go ahead.

A small suggestion, one of the main funny situations was repeated a little later on and didn’t work quite so well, I think that it could be modified – perhaps a change of costume?

In the fourth part, Perry, Frank’s lifelong friend, makes an earth shattering revelation. Frank gives Perry and Jeanette’s sister the two things that they want most in the world. Frank gives a blow by blow version of how to raise a kidnapper’s ransom in order to save a friend.

Comedies should produce a snigger every 15 seconds and a good belly laugh every few minutes. With wonderful team work, and a lot of courage, this cast gave twice this amount.
I missed Steve Hearne from the credit list last week, his catchy tunes are perfect.

Many congratulations to all. Cannot wait until the final 2 episodes next week. Some may find these show offensive, please don’t attend then whinge.
