Hi,

It seems to me that small/fringe/bizarre theatre companies can sometimes have problems getting reviewers along to see and write about their shows.

So here's a solution. I'm a freelance writer based in Melbourne. I love theatre. Depending on my availability, I am offering to attend your performance and write a review, which I will then attempt to get published either in a print publication or online.

I am not just trying to wangle free tickets!

If you're interested and want to see examples of my published work, check out my website: craigscutt.com

Obviously I cannot guarantee that reviews will be published. Editors are gods, not me. Nor will I promise to write glowing copy if, in fact, your work is **insert unfavourable adjective here**. By the same token, I am not prone to looking for negatives just so I have something to write about. I would simply aim to a write short, well-informed, balanced and personalised response to your work.

My contact details are on the website. Look forward to hearing from you. --- Craig@craigscutt.com

Hi Craig,

I'm just about to start a reviewing section to my e-zine, The Prompt Copy, and I will happily publish any reviews that you write up - please contact me about it if you want some more info.

The reviews for the e-zine are going to be big for Melbourne theatre, because we're going to have annual awards, and we'll publish every review on the web as well as in our e-zine.

For those creating shows at the moment, keep your eyes peeled for our announcement on the commencement of our reviewers!

Cheers,

Na
