Hello Dolly
Tue, 11 Oct 2005, 02:10 pm"Hello Dolly" opens Wednesday 12th October this week in Mandurah Performing Arts Centre.
A Must See!!
There are so many emotional depths throughout the play and many special moments - and some parts that just plan rock! - The cast should be proud.
Will prove to be very interesting in how some shows can be put on in amateur theatre; the directors and techs have had many years behind them within the international arena and have had an opportunity to tweek this show more than previous ones held at the Centre.
Recommended for all who want to improve their own art and those who love the show!!

Re: Hello Dolly
I was recently in a production of Singin' in the Rain, which we did at the Playhouse Theatre. It was such an amazing show, and the cast and crew were fantastic, and yes, any show can be done well by an amature group. Ours was so amazing, that it is a few days after we finished, and i'm still crying from it having to end. Goes to show how the professionals must feel like when they finish these sows after a run of a couple of years.
I'm coming to see Hello Dolly this Saturday which i'm very excited about. I can't wait. It's one of my favorite musicals. Having completed Singin in the Rain, and the success of it, it's no doubt that you have a great director and cast and crew, that will pull this off quite well. I know i'll have a good time. Can't wait to see it.
GOOD LUCK!!!
Simon.

Re: Hello Dolly
I am such a fan of the shows that MPAC puts on each year.
I happen to know that, yes, 'Hello Dolly' does have a wonderful cast and crew, so people make sure you go see it!
