Well, well, well... Went to see the 12th Night and was pleasantly surprised. This Shakespeare classics has been played around the world for a few centuries now and every theatre company was trying to bring something new to this iconic piece. Whether it was successful or not - one can argue.

This year Class Act took a brave step to set the play in psychodelic 1970s. Stephen Lee, a master director who clearly understands all the intricacies and specifics of Shakespeare's words with his very talented Perth cast took the audience on a journey.

I won't go on about the plot and do not really want to give too much away about this very colourful production, so go and see it for yourself.

It is very difficult to highlight a particular performance. The whole cast brought something very special to their parts and brought those characters to life in the crazy and wild world of the 1970s.

Congratulations guys, you have got a hot show on your hands and I hope Perth recognises it.
