Word is leaking out that the Sterling Players opening nights production of "Guys and Dolls" last night caused great excitement up Innaloo way. The musical celebrates the 35th year of the Sterling Players and the 50th year of the release of the "Guys and Dolls" video. An opening night is always a hard act to carry off successfully as audiences tend to wait until the creases are ironed out in a new production and everything runs smoothly. But judging by the reaction of the audience's and their joyful mood at the end of the opening night this show is a winner for Sterling. The show is colourful with slick dance routines and rumour has it that the dancers discard their dresses... well!! There is some wonderful singing and comedy throughout the show too. It has songs like "Sit down your rocking the boat", "Take back your mink", "I've never been in love before" and "Luck be a lady". There is a bet that John Flood will tell ABC 720 listeners more about the show on the "Saturday Breakfast" program at 6.35am this Saturday morning. And for the chardonnay set, Sterling now has bar where a guy can buy a doll a glass of wine or vice versa.

"Guys and Dolls" will warm the heart of everyone who has joy in their heart.
