Witches of Eastwick
Fri, 6 May 2005, 09:47 pmWOW Wiloughby, what a show!!!! I went and saw the show last friday (29th) and it was fabulous!
As it was the first show Ive seen of theirs I have no bias(I dont think!!) when I say it was fantastic! The cast were led by strong leads (well done ladies) and need we mension Darryl, who handled his character perfectly! (even though I overheard during interval he had some issues with dancing???) He had the audience captivated and the ladies all wanting more! And what of this dance nonsense??? A huge congrats needs to be given to the choreographer whom ever that may be. The cast, dancers and non dancers alike, looked fantastic and all the songs had seemless movement (many a repetitious rehearsal no doubt!!!)!!! The orchestra again brought up the rear superbly with my only complaint being that of the head blocking my view! (Why is it not "sunken"???). I huge CONGRATS to whom ever the director and assisting production crew may be as it was a fantastic night out and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment!!!!

Hi, Thanks for your kind words. I was in the ensemble and yes, we did work very hard putting this show together! It was directed by Philip Youngman, Musical Direction by Geoffrey Castles and Choreography by Leslie Bell. They all did an AMAZING job. Our leads, Damien Bermingham, Julie O'Brien, Liz Bowie and Rae Cairns are certainly at talented lot too. Thanks again for your support. Fiona Sives
