Patience - a sucess!
Thu, 7 Apr 2005, 06:11 pmI saw a performance of Patience by the Guilbert and Sulivan Society of Wa last night at the playhouse and boy was i surprised.
A pleasant adaption of the usual G & S operetta. Director Ted Bull has set it in the 1930's. Alexandria absolutly shone as Patience (can she sing or what!)
Did anyone else see it? What are your thoughts?
Well done G & S society!

Fri, 8 Apr 2005, 11:08 pmNo... I haven't seen it as yet... but I can't wait - I'm going to Saturday's matinee... from all reports I hear it's fabulous!!
I'm also looking forward to it as my uncle is in it - and ironically I have never seen him perform before - can't wait!!!
Don't forget peoples... if you turn up to the Playhouse's Box Office half an hour before curtain and haven't already secured your booking - you can purchase 'general rush' tickets for only $15 - there will be no guarantee on where your seating arrangement can be made as this offer is only for remaining seats left - but eh - what an offer !!!!!!!!!!!
Cheers
