CABARET
Wed, 20 Oct 2004, 08:54 amIf you are in Sydney, i would just like to recommend seeing Mosman Musical Society's production of CABARET
I went on the opening night, and i have never seen such a well done version of Cabaret.
Grittier than the movie, MUCH more entertaining than the recent "revival", it seems like it's Cabaret the way it's MEANT to be.
Props go to the Emcee, who was played perfectly, and completely different to anything you've ever seen.
With a great cast, great songs, great acting, and great choreography it's hard to fault the show. The only issues were the sound which faded in and out, or failed to come in at all. But after saying that, you will NEVER get a closer Cabaret experience than seeing this. The show is right in your face, just a few feet away, bringing the fun and the sadness right to your feet.
Go see it! Its not on for much longer i think, i got my tickets from www.mca-tix.com but i think you can get them at the door
