WELL DONE GUYS!!
Congratulations to Dianna Day for a very cleverly written, brilliantly directed play!!
Joy Northover's portrayal of the matchmaker/narrator is almost too convincing..... I 'll bet that there is a job there that she didnt put on her CV.
Leon Ousby's acting expertise is obvious. The changes between his characters are totally believable. His delivery of each one them is flawless. Even his worst jokes are hilarious!
Kristine Lockwood's characterisations are also incredibly well delivered. Her skills as an actress showing through as she moved from one "person" to another effortlessly. So well in fact that it would be easy to believe that she is Sybil re-incarnated!
The play is completely engrossing. The audience at the performance my partner and I saw all checked their watches at interval. We could not believe that we had reached half time!!
The Blue Room is a very good choice of venue for this work. The intimacy of the theatre lends itself well to play. It was my first attendance at The Blue Room and I would suggest to any prospective audience members that they take a cushion, as the chairs tend to be a bit hard. Having said that... it is the only thing I found about the entire performance and/or the venue that I did not enjoy.
Once again, heartfelt congratulations to the cast and crew of AGENCY for a most entertaining play.
Definatley a "must see" for all who like to laugh!
