Witches of Eastwick - WAAPA 3rd year Music Theatre students and support from all other areas.
These productions are an avenue for WAAPA students to try out their new skills and get some live experience with an audience.
I saw the Witches of Eastwick on Wednesday night and now know why these productions are so hard to get tickets to.
The Witches Of Eastwick is a musical comedy by John Dempsey and Dana P Rowe and although not too successfull in its professional debut, the WAAPA students have put on a great production.
Nothing let the show down, some areas excelled, the three female leads worked well together, the design team made good use of the devil theme, and the "magical" tricks were well executed. The villiage scenery was well used and the swallowing up effect worked well.
We have some excellent talent being nurtured for Australian theatre and beyond as they worked well with the area and the resources they had available.
