Although it is a two-hander, Olivia Darby's character "Sal" is merely a presence, it is "Jim", played by Ian Bolgia, that does all the talking. The play is a great vehicle for Ian, and he does a brilliant job as the sadistic red neck. You could see the pain and fear behind the eyes of both characters as their disturbing relationship unfolds. Olivia Darby's stage presence is captivating, a must-see for directors looking for new talent.

Terrible Jim Fitch is on at the new Sun Room in Maylands, 134 Whatley Crescent, (ent. off 6th Ave, top level of Blind Institute), great venue and tickets only $10.

It finishes this weekend, (performances tonight and tomorrow only), 8pm show and easy parking. Get along to support this very good show and wonderful venue.
