Extremities at the Edge theatre, Newtown is an experience all too often missing from theatre. The audience staggers out shaken - and stirred - from what can only be described as a bludgeoning of the senses.

The faces of the audience watching in rapt horror at the depiction of a woman bent on revenge, is in itself magnetic.

The 'baddie' played by Michael Denka is mesmerising and he fills the space with menace. His cadjoling, wheedling attempts to escape his fate don't fool us for a second - but we want to believe! A powerful performance by all the cast provides those watching but still involved, a long hard look at what they might do in similar circumstances...had they the guts.
