working
Sat, 10 May 2003, 11:32 amwe went to rolystone thearter last night to see the musical Working and thought wow this is realy good . very strong vocally in the most part but i thought that joe could have been a bit stronger. costumes were great set minilmalistic but other wise extremly well presented and directed by kristen twynam-perkins.
as this is her first musical she has done a credible job and it is one well worth going to see. my freinds and i had an enjoyable evening with the music and song.

Wednesday 14th May 2003, I was sitting in my car waiting for the doors to open at Roleystone Theatre. I heard the angelic voices from the casts warm up vocals and new that I was going to like the show. Well done to Kristen and crew, you all did a great job with a relatively unknown show. Some of the songs you could imagine being sung by African Americans with lots of their sassy attitude, but the soloists pulled them off with the backing of their cast mates. The set was simple but effective. My favourite piece in the show was "Just a Housewife" sung by Bree Hartley (kate) and her backing of housewives. Well done to my old seven brides castmate Kaelene McKay who was fabulous as she portrayed the many facets of everyday workers. She sparkled.
Well done to all involved in "Working".
