I saw Godspell and thought that it was one of the best & dynamic shows that I have seen in years. I am no musical theatre expert but I can recognise a good production when I see one, and this was good. A friend of mine saw it with me and he is a musical theatre expert and has seen at least five other versions of Godspell, in his opinion this was the best he had seen.
The use of the childrens choir as a back drop and to support the singing was tremendous, it gave the songs that extra depth & volume.
Recognising that it was produced by the Perth Youth Theatre I think the theatre is in good hands for the future.
