A modern day adaptation of the short stories by C.J. Thomas,
Jason Triggs' "Passing Through The Flame" is a poignant and tragic love story of two young men who encounter daily homosexual prejudice.
It is a simple yet moving piece which centers around
"Justin" (Jason Triggs) and his lover Brady (Jez Hunghanfoo).
Along with his astounding portrayal of Justin, Jason was also the playwright of this dramatic piece, which served constant action from it's dynamic opening, right up to the heartbreaking finale.
Featuring the promising acting talents of Jessica Bowden, (Chicko) Larissa Cardwell (Gillian) Bree Van Eerden, (Janet) Antony Steadman (Michael) Damien Coulter (Douglas), Steve Bahnsen (Benny) and Nada Brozel as the Nurse, "Passing Through The Flame" evokes a sorrowful desire within each individual viewer and an adamant opposition to homophobia. A must see for the heterosexual and homosexual alike, "Passing Through The Flame" is undoubtedly Triggs' most outstanding piece yet.
