Passing through the Flame - LMC
Fri, 14 Mar 2003, 10:13 pm As a fan of theatre for quite a while, i have seen a large number of plays with differing themes, lengths and overall topics. As such, it is not very often that i see one that touches me as this one did so easily.
Passing through the Flame is a somber, emotional piece which brought a tear to my eye, and touched my heart with its dialog and its closeness to reality. The cast performed brilliantly to bring a great script to life.
It is refreshing to see that while being a newly-formed company and with a predominately young cast, Light My Candle can present and produce such a high quality of play with themes relevant to topics in our community. I am sure to look out for any other pieces which involve not only Light My Candle, but also the playwright, Jason Triggs.
