Bald Prima Dona had full houses packed into the Rechabite Hall, where often the temperature reaches the melting point of concrete when only half full. The hard working cast of the ever-active ‘Borrowers’ who wore army great coats throughout must have suffered.

Unfortunately there werenÂ’t any programmes left, but the five main characters were outstanding.

Adam Rule, who has proved his comedy skills in several pantos and comedies, was at his best in this show. Rebecca Church, Paul Goddard and I’m sorry that sadly I don’t know the other couples names, were superb. The whole show was played down with the stiff upper lip of the ‘we’re English’ leading couple.

Very cleverly conceived by the 18 (is this correct?) years old director – he has a huge future.

There was a short pandemonium scene near the end, which with the heat and the concentration required to try and keep up with the complex story was a little annoying, but a tremendous show, congratulations to all concerned.

How absurd! That's like saying "stop the world and let me off", Jenni.

Thou paunchy flap-mouthed burn-bailey!
