NB *Sorry about the "immature" title, I just wanted to get everyone's attention ;)

On Thursday night, I was so very lucky enough to attend the opening of an encore season of one of the best shows I've ever seen in Perth. As a member of the audience I was completely blown away by the professionalism of this show, the huge amount of talent of its cast and the fact that I could feel so involved in the show, yet only be an audience member - it's definately the best show I've been to where the audience actually has fun.

The cast of this show; Simon Holt, Chris Kabay,
Amanda Chesterton, Stuart Laing, Bree McGurk and Julie Yammanee are truly fantabulistic and work so well together. Every single one of these performers are so talented, that it would be unfair to single anyone out, but rest assured the quality of the performers is of the very highest ever seen in Perth before.

The show is called "AS THE WORLD GOES 'ROUND" and is at the Subiaco Theatre Centre in the Studio. Tickets can be booked through BOCS (9484 1133) for $19.90 Adults/$16.90 Concession - there are also student rush tickets being sold half an hour prior to the performance for only $13.50. The tickets prices are well worth the money everyone, I urge EVERYONE to have the priviledge of being part of the audience of this amazing show.

Now a few of you may be aware that I also posted a review of this show when it was performing its first season. I think people should know that I have since been to the show 2 more times having attended a total 3 of its performances. Needless to say, I may be a little strapped for cash but it was very much worth it! Again, I am severely disappointed by the number of people in the audience - very, very few bums on seats. The reason "yellow glass theatre inc" have put on an encore season was to give the chance for others to see it who were unlucky enough not to see it the first time around. So all those who were unfortuante enough to be a part of this category (and there's A LOT of you) please go and attend this show and see what you've been missing out on. There are only 2 performances left so cancel all other commitments and either go today (Saturday) at 5pm or tomorrow night at 8pm.

This is "yellow glass theatre inc's" first production! Now if you want really professional, clean, crisp, entertaining shows in the future, then get down to Subiaco Theatre Centre and support them!!

Well that's my two cents, but I seriously believe that many poeple are missing out.

Cheers
mark
