Just wondering if anybody else in Sydney went to see this production at the Sutherland Entertainment Centre.
I thought it was brilliant and one of the best shows, I have seen in a very long time.
The whole cast was fantastic. And the orchestra sounded very very good.

Hi Mary,
I'm the co-costume coordinator for MMS, including Crazy For You, and one of our members read your message. Thank you for your kind words and as I am also MMS' archivist, they will now appear in our CFY archives. Again, thank you for your support.

Re: Crazy For You

Dear Mary,
I saw your comment on the web site. As the director I was very flattered by your comments, but must say this was the best cast and production team I have ever worked with on the Amateur stage. Looking forward to seeing you at Hello Dolly . I will probably show you to your seat...that's the life as a member of Miranda Musical Society, we all work together to produce such great results.

Re: Crazy For You

Hi Mary.
Thanks for your comments. I was the Musical Director for 'Crazy'. We had a ball. I consider myself fortunate to have worked with the other members of the production team and the cast. I do think it was one of the best orchestras I have had the good fortune to conduct. See you at 'Hello Dolly' and, like Wendy, I possibly will be showing you to your seat or selling you a program. Thanks again.

G'day wunderpup,

Hmm. Speaking of needing guidance....

I suggest you establish some credentials before you start expecting anyone to come swarming at you wanting your tips.

WHY did you think it was a successful production?
WHY was the ending ruined, in your opinion?
Why, if you understand Hamlet so well, did you completely misunderstand the threads that you are responding to?
Why do your several spelling mistakes not encourage me to think highly of your educated opinion?

Don't worry too much....you've at least proved THAT point.

Cheers,
Craig

I suggest both of you need guidance as this review was for a production of Crazy for You a Gershwin musical in Sutherland that was brilliant, and nothing to do with Hamlet!

Hi Mary

Yes, very good point. When I took Wunderpup to task for the inane comments about your production, I kind of killed two birds with one stone by also referring to the misinformed way he/she had made similar ludicrous comments about the production of "I Hate Hamlet" (which was a contemporary thread, and so made sense at the time of posting).

My intention was to point out the lack of credibility in Wunderpup's previous arguments, thereby (in a roundabout way) defending Crazy For You.

I was criticising the pup for missing the point...however I apologise to you that a month or so later my point now seems a bit lost, so no wonder you missed it.

Crazy? Guidance? I am but mad north-north west!

Cheers,
Craig
