Sense & Sensibility
Wed, 10 July 2002, 09:46 amThis is a great adaptation of the original story, with a very small cast of 7 actors.
It was performed brilliantly by all of the actors, and I especially liked the performances of the two sisters (played by Claire Warner and Katherine siddons). They bounced off each other brilliantly. The men were very realistic, and had us laughing constantly with their fumbling and stuttering.
The set was great and scene changes went smoothly.
If you want to see a good Jane Austen, then get over to Stirling Players performances this week and next.
Well done to all the cast, crew and the Director, Ailsa Travers.
