I have been to see many wonderful shows this year....
But, the show I saw tonight will remain in my memory for a long while. Tonight's performance of La Heroina Del Dolor was enthralling and incredibly powerful. Unfortunately there is only limited time left for you to get tickets as the last night is June 8. Do go and see La Heroina Del Dolor - The Life of Frida Kahlo at the Deckchair Theatre in Fremantle, WA. I was immersed in the life of Frida, her childhood, her teenage years and her adulthood. Claire Jone's carried this one-woman show with incredible truth, vitality, versatility, and strength; her acting was truly inspirational for me. What a wonderful performance of Frida, a woman of passion and determination even when suffering pain and hurt. GO AND SEE IT - You will love the show. I was enthralled and remained undistracted even with the pouring rain and slightly uncomfortable seats. Congratulations to Claire and Angela Chaplin for bringing this extraordinary, rich piece to life.
P.S. I think there are $15 tickets on Thursday night but you will need to book as people were being turned away tonight.
