Unfortunately by the time anyone reads this review, there will be only 2 performances of this show left for anyone to go and see, but dear guiness! Go and see it now! This play lives up to the highest expectations.

Despite the director's concern that one of his leading males hadn't learnt his lines by the week before, the performances of Jamie McNamara and Ben Tredrea were compelling and brilliant. Tredrea as Henderson was chilling at times with his cynical view of the people surrounding him, whilst McNamara played up the character of Will perfectly.

The other characters were also brilliant, off-setting each other perfectly. Although I have to say I laughed the loudest during Craig Edward's little cameo as the two main character's landlord Mr Violent, wearing combat pants and a net vest. This role is usually played by Brendon Fisher, who, unfortunately is unable to attend every performance.

Thought-provoking yet hilarious, this play almost perfectly portrays the university lifestyle, two men sharing an apartment, sleeping on mattresses on the floor, the only decorations empty beer cans or in this case, vodka bottles. The repeated inclusion of drinking games, especially that of the game "coins", merely strengthens the connection felt by any uni student who sat down to watch this play. The only thing I could see what's wrong with the play was that it only runs for a week...

Go and see it now! Either tonight at 8pm or tomorrow at the same time, in the Dolphin Theatre, definately worth what little it costs... :)
