Black Swan's One Destiny

I got a sneak peek at One Destiny the other night and it's well worth seeing. It's actually a comedy, which I didn't realise, about a film being shot about the life of John Forrest. While the "film about something" premise may reek a little of tacky hollywood flicks (examples of which I can't remember right now), it's actually a very witty little piece of theatre. The plot's good, the jokes are good and it raises some very interesting issues and looks to have very broad appeal. I definately reccomend going to see it.

Two good plays in one week - I don't know if I've ever experienced that before... :)

as a student of John Forrest Senior High, myself, 20 something(?) 0ther students and the JFSHS drama teaxcher got a special invite to blak swan's One Destiny(because i was with the school, i was there for show. as were my mates).

i enjoyed the show. i aggree with tomas - the plot is clever.

near the end, it became a litttle too historical for myself and my highschool friends(and the teacher), and personally, i didn't like the audience involvcent. it's all a bit too much for a Friday night.

i particually enjoyed the music, and the lighting was not much, but it was very effective.

all up - it was a good show in a nice venue.
check it out and the playhouse!
