Encore! MPAC

I saw the show Encore on their final night and was very impressed with the quality of the local talent. I personally found the songs from Jesus Christ Superstar a bit boring, however they were sung brilliantly. The show had a good mixture of song, dance & comedy. The young lady playing the part of Annie sounded wonderful and surprised me with her voice, I'm sure we'll see her later on as a professional. All of the pieces from Oklahoma! were performed with gusto & had me tapping my foot and Ye-Ha'ing along with the rest of the audience. After the show I heard many positive comments and the only negative thing I heard was that the finale seemed a bit disorganised, a comment which I have to agree with. The centre itself is a very impressive place for productions of this sort. I will certainly be looking out for their next show.
