Fri, 1 Dec 2000, 08:21 pmClaire Hopper showed with her talented cast what the best of theatre arts could bring to the small stage. For 45 minutes the cast of 5 worked tirelessly to give new ideas and excellent interpretation an airing at the Blue Room.
A minor suggestion, try and pair a short production like this with another short show - such as the 'Seagull' that followed or another locally penned comedy

RE: Theatre Prices

The argument is that if the price looks too low then the public expectation will be that the show will be pretty shonky.
Having said that I am an admirer of $10 tickets because it does away with all the small change.
As for Cracked it was worth every cent of the $18 punters put out - and it did very good business so I suppose the market can bear it.
AND at the Blue Room it is going DIRECTLY to a good cause: hard working theatre practicioners and that's a good charity! I wonder whether it's tax deductable?
