With good credible acting, good direction and staging, this latest
Kwinana Theatre Workshop production is a truly thought provoking drama which leaves the audience feeling emotionally drained. Congratulations to all involved. Well done.

RE: Too Far To Walk
I fully agre with the review of "Too Far to Walk". I thought it one of the most emotionally demanding plays I have seen, both for audience and cast.
while hesitating to single out any one of the cast, for they were all EXCELLANT I have to say that Amy and Rebecca really did have me in tears.
The publicity for this show does not seem to have been great, but if you have a free evening next week, GO SEE IT.
Kwiwana Theatre Workshop. Bookings 9439-0290

RE: Too Far To Walk
Make the effort. Go and see this play.
Kwinana is not really that far away and your journey will be well rewarded.
Judith and Amy both put in fabulous performances, and it will be interesting to see how the Finley judges rate them .
Congratulations to Geof Leeder on an outstanding production.

RE: Too Far To Walk
Well done Geoff and Cast, it was a thought provoking play that was in the main wonderfully acted.
Very strong performances from all of the cast.
Its a long drive, but well worth it.
Once again as a reviewer I am loathe to single anyone out but I found Amy Leeder's performance was compellingly sincere, and she held a creditable accent for the entire performance.
Lighting was good, sound unobtrusive and apart from what appeared to be a couple of hesitations over lines, overall it was a excellent play.
Not really my cup of tea , but this didn't interfere with my enjoyment.
A strongly dramatic Play that I would heartily recommend.

RE: Too Far To Walk
As most of you know, I rarely comment here, because with my writing for Stage Whispers, I see so many shows. (Besides I want you to read my review in Stage Whispers).
I am making an exception with Too Far To Walk because this outstanding show is not getting the capacity audience it deserves.
I saw the show last Saturday and it was less than half full, so I assume you will be able to get tickets for the closing performance tonight.
Beautiful performances brought out by crisp, thoughtful direction. This show is in the top class of productions you will see.
Full Review will be in December Stage Whispers.

RE: Too Far To Walk
I know I'm biased, being a devoted KTW member, but I want to thank Goeff and his cast for a production that really shone out!!
I love KTW and enjoy every show I see and work on there, but we need to do plays like Too Far to Walk, to keep audiences interested and members willing to do 'different' plays. As much as I love playing the cheeky maid in a cute drawing room comedy - I would have loved to play a meaty role like the ones available in this play.
Thank you all for doing a fab job, making me cry (which I never usually do in a KTW show), and showing real human relationships with a touch of humour to balance it all out.
Well done!!

RE: Too Far To Walk
Also as a totally biased KTW member (and one of the cheeky maid patrol) I have to say I totally agree with Kerry. It's about time the rest of perth had the opportunity to see the talent from their cousins further south. Well one to the entire cast and crew, it was most certainly a job well done.
