Sinbad
Sat, 23 Sept 2000, 11:15 amPantomime at this time of the year, whatever next??
Gather up the kids, their friends, the grandparents and anyone else who likes a bit of frivolity every now and again and head to Melville Theatre Company for this 'Eastern Adventure'
A brilliantly costumed cast, a principal boy, beautiful princess, a "Dame" (loved the knees and the figure John) four VERY sexy belly dancers (OK quite safe for the children) and a cast who looked as if they were enjoying the fun of it all made for an enjoyable evening (the champagne after the show on opening night was an added bonus)
I dearly wanted the giant Roc bird to come on stage but had to be content with his/her flapping wings sounds! The Slave-Master - wow, have you been taking lessons with Belyssa too Denny?
The two incompetant 'baddies' were a real highlight of the evening, their antics had the audience in fits.
I can't mention everyone tho I'd like to so go and see for yourselves. ther's a matinee tomorrow Sunday 24th at 2 pm, tickets at the door $5 for kids. show continues next Thursday/Friday/Saturday.
