Havnt we forgotton what it is all about?

Ive ben reading all these comments about reviews, the good the bad and the horrible, and Im a bit confused. Isnt Community theatre first and foremost about FUN?? I know that in my experience, although some of the shows ive been in, sure they wernt great, but they were great fun, for the actors, crew, company and the audience. If people want professional theatre they can go and pay $60 a ticket for it. If people want to be professional actors/crew etc go to NIDA/WAPPA and be one! Belive me Ive seen the deal in London's West End and that is nothing but hassle and pettiness and falseness. The reason I like Community theatre is because they dont take themselves too seriously. Dont forget that its about having a good time. But, no that dosnt mean it had so be bad, Its about enjoyment.
