secret squirrel
Sat, 24 June 2000, 07:27 amsecret squirrel: don't know/care if using a pseudonym is the right or wrong thing 2 do, but in retrospect i wish i had! but if u have an unlisted number like i do u can use your real name on this site. the only problem with voicing your opinions on this site using your real name is that people will undoubtedly be doubly critical of your performance, ever-ready 2 tell u how much u sucked. but if you're goodlooking, which in turn makes u supremely confident, which in turn gives u a thick skin, it's like water off a duck's back.
cos some, not ALL, but some people who visit this site have outrageously thin skins - especially 4 a profession/hobby that so much requires u 2 be confident & thick-skinned - it makes u wonder what the hell they r doing in entertainment if they're so goddam sensitive.
so did ya see me at the channel [v] auditions last monday? did anyone here go?

Your logic tends to be a bit narrow-minded.
I'd like to think that you don't have to be goodlooking to be 'supremely confident'. How about confidence in one's own ability? Regardless of criticism, believing in your abilities will carry you forward in this industry.
Don't expect your looks to give you confidence all the time.
