Sorry, but I need a man too
Fri, 13 Oct 2000, 04:07 pmHi guys,
Sorry to wade into the debate like this but Blak Yak Theatre desperately needs an actor for their upcoming production of Sourcery. We open in 2 and 1/2 weeks and due to circumstances beyond our control one of our male actors has had to leave town. We're looking for someone who is youngish 18-35 and can play a variety of roles. The cast and crew are fantastic, there's lots of explosions, near nudity, violence and orang-utans. So if you're tempted and you fit the above description please, please, please call me on 041 799 4544 or email at this address.
Thanks
Melissa Merchant

RE: But I was being serious!
Mon, 16 Oct 2000, 08:21 pmHi Gill
Melissa is at rehearsal tonight so I will pop in.
At least one of the characters Melissa wants the actor to fill absolutely has to be male...To have a woman in the role would add an element that would confuse the audience, as "maleness" is essential to the character.
Thanks for your help though Gill.
Guys..two hours ago Melissa was still looking... This play also has some of the most gorgeous girls imagineable, dressed in...well, not much (and guys in dresses if that is what you prefer). Don't miss this opportunity. Ring Melissa now.
