Kitchenhand Productions proudly presents "Remembering St. Marinus" for this year's Artrage Festival.

A black comedy featuring Burt Bacharach, a demented father, a 38-calibre rifle, flashbacks of 1982 and one seriously pissed-off sea lion.

A tropical island is not always paradise. Come with Old Jim and his three underachieving kids to Para-dice Island where the entertainment is nearly as bad as the cocktails. Jim just wants to get back to the good old days and his kids just want to get back to reality.

Written by WA playwright Steven Hounsome, and featuring graduates of Edith Cowan University’s drama program, Remembering St. Marinus is a one-act black comedy about this strange thing we call “family” and how to survive it. Costume design is by Pirko Ikonnen, lighting and sound is by Shelley Hayes, and Peter Polyester provides some of the worst renditions of Burt Bacharach you’ll ever hear.
