Hi Franny,
Stages is an organisation where new (and used) writers can have their work read and assessed by theatre professionals. I would recommend any budding playwright to join (for a very small fee) and get their play off the computor and into a forum where they can hear it read by proffessional actors and enter into a discussion on how to improve their skills. It is also a fantastic place to meet other writers, actors and directors. You can contact Stages on 9201 1168 and talk to Sally Richardson who can give you all the lowdown.
Happy writing
