Hey, guys, I'm bored...
Fri, 2 June 2000, 05:39 pmOk, you lot. ;)
It's been fun. And yes, I laughed my ass off. But hey, so did Kim. Despite the (initially) caustic attitude, she's actually an ok kinda gal.
She gave us something diverting to talk about, right?
But it's getting kind of old now.
Can we change the subject??
:) Tracey.

RE: Hey, guys, I'm bored...
Wanted:- One inexperienced, untalented young lady who must be extremely vain and beautiful, to have her throat cut in the opening scene of the upcoming "Jack the Ripper a Musical" production at The Old Mill Theatre, South Perth.
Auditions take place at the theatre on Sunday the 23rd July from 10.00 A.M. onwards
Should Ms Silverstone audition and be cast, the rest of you
( stirred up ) respondents are invited to be seated ( front row of course ) on opening night,( rotten fruit and vegies will be made available ).
P.S. This is a non speaking part.

RE: Hey, guys, I'm bored...
Ok but seriously now, I do agree that yes this industry which we know and love does have its fair share of hard knocks, and if all this histrionic whingeing by people has done nothing else, it has reminded us of that fact.
However I am extending the olive branch, and saying to Ms. Letterman, that if she would like to sample some of Perth's best community theatre, she has only to click on the 'What's On' section to find a good evening's entertainment. I assure you, you won't be disappointed.
Friends?
J.
P.S. Change of subject, does anyone know any goss about A.C.E.?
Or Scarp Theatre for that matter?

The future of Scarp Theatre
In the absence of an imminent response from current committee members, and as an interested and informed associate, I would like to let people know that Scarp Theatre is alive.
Scarp Theatre does not currently have any productions in preparation, pending a recess to allow for the consolidation of resources and reflection on committee positions & procedures.
The Scarp production of CABARET, which auditions in July, and performs at the Kalamunda Theatre Centre in October, will be the next major work for the company.
Anyone interested in becoming involved in the creative or administrative organisation of Scarp should stay tuned to forthcoming developments (which will be posted in this website) as the company's healthy future is soon determined.
Scarp Theatre will return...

RE: jack the ripper
I'm sorry that I used Jack the Ripper as a pseudonym, I was (and still am) seeking cheap publicity for the show. I apologise to Ms Silverman for any unintended derogatory remarks toward her and in offering an olive branch suggest that should the young lady(person) appear at the forthcoming audition and expose oneself then I too am prepared to be pilgarliced.

RE: jack the ripper
gee just an apology??
I think at the very least you should send ms silverman some free tickets....
