HALF PRICE TICKETS!!!
Tue, 18 Apr 2000, 11:57 amHi All,
**** HOT OFF THE PRESS ****
Just wanted to let you know about the generous offer made by Playlovers for the upcoming Sondheim musical ASSASSINS... (which I just happen to be appearing in...as John Wilkes Booth)
Opening night ONLY, the offer is 2 tickets for the price of one. That works out to $8.50 per person!!! No better value in town!!! Cheaper than the cinema!!! Need I go on....!
You can book on 0415 777 173 (between 10am-6pm) But get in quick, this won't last long, I'm sure.
The opening night is: Friday 28th April (Friday week)
Other dates (if you can't make opening night): April 29th, May 3rd, 5th-7th, 10th-13th
I would love to see you all there!!! It's a great show and very funny, very black and VERY different (in a good way)...and I'm great, by the way...hmmmmm - I'll just quickly take my humility tablet...
*** PLEASE FORWARD THIS ON TO ANYONE YOU THINK MAY BE INTERESTED ***
Regards,
Jason

Will Jason Seperic live up to his review of himself? (..and I'm great, by the way...)

*Gulp* I think I'm gonna regret this...I have since taken those humility pills (down boy, WOOF -- !)
By the way, in addition to Myself and the venerable David ('Sweaty Butcher') Meadows, the incredibly talented cast includes:
Helen McFarlane (Sara Jane Moore - tried to assassinate Pres.Gerald Ford - 1975)
Cynthia Fenton (Lynette 'Squeaky' Fromme - Pres. Gerald Ford - 1975)
Nick Christo (John Hinkley - tried to assassinate Pres. Ronald Reagan - 1981)
Greg Jones (Leon Czolgosz - assassinated Pres William McKinley - 1901)
James McNeill (Charles J Guiteau - assassinated Pres James Garfield - 1881)
Jarrad West (Lee Harvey Oswald - assassinated Pres John Kennedy - 1963)
Clayton Zwanenberg (Giuseppe Zangara - tried to assassinate Pres-elect Franklin Roosevelt - 1933)
and, or course, -
David Meadows (Sam Byck - tried to assassinate Pres. Richard Nixon - 1973)
Myself (John Wilkes Booth - assassinated Abraham Lincoln - 1865)
Plus a wonderful ensemble of strong singers. What more could you ask for!!!
FYI - some more background on each of these vibrant characters can be found at:
http://www.iserv.net/~mamiller/assassin.htm (which, hopefully, will be back up soon).
All of them fascinating characters to play, in a show where the writing is so clever it can go from the blackest of scenes to slapstick in a heartbeat... best described as:
"A Musical Vaudeville on the subject of Presidential Assassination"
Hope to see you all there...
Regards
Jason
