ABN's

I was just reading the ABN information on the front page of the web site.

This week Telstra wanted to deny Blak Yak a new telephone number because they don't (yet) have an ABN.

While I'm sure that this probably isn't legal (yet) and like most things in this world, there was a way round it (for the moment anyway), I thought I'd share it as a warning of things to come.

To right it is.

Don't forget that if you don't have an ABN by your July season, I shall retain 48.5% of it and forward it to the taxation department on your behalf.

We have registered a few organisations for an ABN via the internet site and as long as you have the information required to hand, we can process the application in better than 10 minutes.

So for us, tax free status is just weeks away. The tax burden transfers to the consumer and our costs go down around 4%. We have stopped buying stationary and are delaying all printing and capital acquisutions until July 1 when we will be effectively buying at tax exempt prices.

Parity at last....
