My apologies to all those for whom this is a repost. If you are subscribed to the mailing list you have probably read this already.
Following is Max Armstrong's response to earlier messages sent directly to the mailing list this morning.
Max, i'm not sure from your post who you feel has been making use of "dismissive language".

Dear all,
I bang my head constantly for opportunities lost by people presenting the
vision that they are master of thier own domain by the use of dismissive
language to the lesser mortals.
Perhaps a lot more mileage would have been gained by a simple "Yes please,
inclusion on your site would be much appreciated. Our web address is
http://blah blah.etc.au "

I should have thought our being pleased with more hits was a fairly normal reaction.
>>Ozdiary, which is a nationwide directory of the

Congratulations :)
I note that Ozdiary also includes information on art galleries, exhibitions, cinema, tv, news, weather, sport, finance, leisure, travel and tourism.

I think the ITA committee would express similar frustration at the slow response from some member companies to their own requests for information.

All the information you seek is freely available on the ITA website. You will notice that copyright notices are not appended to each page. Please feel free to help yourself to whatever information you require.
The ITA website is a communication medium for a well established, flourishing organisation with a highly active membership. The site is built around a shared vision of an interactive arts community. It has always been more than a sales brochure, product catalogue or calendar of events.
Cheers
Grant
