Re: Bunbury Youth Results

> Here are the results of the Youth FestivalThanks very much, Kim.I drove back from Bunbury last night with the results from the Youth Festival and was delighted to find they were already up here. Well done. Let's see who can post the final results the quickest ;)This year is the 20th Annual One Act Drama Festival in Bunbury and Bunbury Repertory are to be heartily congratulated again for the success of this year's undertaking. The warm welcome extended to visitors from around the state (Bridgetown to Karratha, no less) is evidence of a well organised and dedicated team of volunteers. Many of whom, i couldn't help noticing, appeared to be tirelessly performing their duties for the umpteenth year in succession.I particularly appreciated the comments in the programme by Festival organiser, Rod Kroon:"Although we have an adjuidcator and there are awards to be presented, the main object of the Festival is to promote and encourage amateur theatre, for the participants to learn from the experience and to have a good time in the process."The participation rate from Youth has been extraordinary. Seven plays entered in a marathon session that ran from 4 - 9.30pm on Friday evening and then a further 2 productions that fit well within the boundaries of Youth. That's an astonishing 9 out of 23 productions and doesn't include the contribution by young members towards the other 14 productions!CheersGrant
