Hello Everybody. Blak Yak Theatre has a (short) One-Act season booked at the City of Gosnells Don Russell Performing Arts Centre (our regular venue) on September 1, 3 and 4, where we will be presenting two plays: "Cato's Daughter" and "Two Men In Buckram".We are looking to expand the evening with the addition of another one (or possibly two) One-Act play(s) from a guest theatre group. Consequently, this is an open invitation to groups (or individuals) to contact Blak Yak if you would like an additional opportunity to present your One-Act play to an audience.I personally think that this is a great opportunity for clubs to meet and work together; to perform at a different venue (hopefully alleviating some of the nervousness when performing for the first time at an alien venue - usually the Festival itself); a chance to expose your club to a different audience (possibly increasing your fan club); and above all, extra experience and satisfaction in presenting a show that you've worked so hard on (as opposed to performing it once or twice, then never again). If anyone is interested, please feel free to contact me or Kimberley Shaw - and Peter, if you're reading this, I'm sorry but I've misplaced your phone number.Jarrod Buttery,President - Blak Yak Theatre(And I didn't once mention MASKERAD... D'Oh!)
