Singing for Fun Masterclass
Thu, 10 June 1999, 09:58 pmThe next ITA Masterclass will be "Singing for Fun", conducted by Stephen Furtado on 25 July in the Conference Room adjacent to the ITA office in it's new Delhi Street premises. So, you'll have a chance to inspect the new abode.Stephen is an Adult Education teacher where he runs a similar class. He also takes private pupils. The Masterclass will: improve confidence; use various repertoires; explore breath management, tone, phrasing, vocal onset, acoustics, projection, vowel formants/modification, resonance and range extension; encourage personal contribution, sharing of experience and, above all, a sense of fun and adventure.Participants will require:note book, pen/pencil, eraser, folder, favourite song on tape or a backing tape.Stephen will bring a keyboard to the Masterclass.Entry forms for the Masterclass are available from the ITA office and should be returned by the 11 July.Date: Sunday 25 July 2pm -5pmPlace: City West Lotteries House, 2 Delhi Street West PerthCost: $10 members of the ITA or affiliated club, $15 non-members(includes tea and coffee)
