If You Only See One Show This Weekend...
Tue, 6 Apr 1999, 01:18 pmGo and see, "The Rivers of China" at Garrick.Partly because it's one of three possible choices (and KADS' "Nunsense" is sold out, and Acorn's "My Friend Miss Flint" is on for two more weeks).Partly because I enjoyed it and I'm recommending it to anyone remotely interested. "So What?" I hear you cry, and admittedly, an endorsement from me could quite possibly do more harm than good. Anyhow, it was interesting and thought-provoking; it was not too long (finished just before 10.00 PM);
there were some truly enjoyable performances; and it had the most inventive staging and set design that I have seen for some time.And partly because I've always appreciated actresses in black, lacey lingerie (don't miss the first five minutes!)

It was well everythinged in fact and I highly recommend it.Now if I could just find someone to explain it to me.........LEAHPS Kim, while the but was passable, the boy did have a pair of external obliques to die for!
