That's right: you heard right. Playlovers' first musical for '99 is the red-hot, hep-cat, zoot-suitin', swinging epic "HOT MIKADO", an adaptation of the evergreen operetta. This version is set in the steamy 1940's- of the Cotton Club and the Birth of the Cool. It's funny, it's fast, it's furious, it's flamin groovy fantastic with a cherry blossom on top!WHEN- Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th March 1999WHERE- Hackett Hall, Draper Street Floreat.WHO DO I CALL?- me, Eliot McCann, on 9345 4569, or try:eliotmccann@hotmail.comWHAT DO I NEED?- a song that shows you off. It doesn't have to be from the show. It doesn't specifically need to be jazz either. You should however be prepared to do "things" to it as part of the audition, so make sure you know it well!I'll look forward to seeing you all there.
