Tickets will be available from our usual outlet, Nightingale Pharmacy, Kalamunda 9293 2621 from March 2nd but special group booking can be arranged now by ringing Hillary on 9291 9429. For those of you who always complain that you do not like to come up to the Hills at night we are doing a special charity matinee at the Kalamunda Performing Arts Centre on Sunday April 11th at 2:00 p.m.. Terry and I have saved 50 tickets for our theatre friends, these are available, @ $15 each by ringing George or Terry on 9293 4746, you will miss the intamcy of our little theatre but you will get a good show at a reasonable price.If you enjoy the humour of The Vicar of Dibley and Sister Act you will adore Dan Goggins Nunsense. The author, Dan Goggins, spent a lot of his life around nuns, and most of his experiences left wonderful memories. He was moved to write Nunsense because he wanted to share what he knew to be the humour of the nun. Each of the Little Sisters of Hoboken is based on a real life nun. Many famous actresses, among them June Bronhill, Rue McLanahan, Honor Blackman have played the wonderful role of Mother Superior, and the play has had runaway successes in many countries.This very warm, intimate and funny Musical Comedy about the Little Sisters of Hoboken, features the singing, dancing and comedy skills of the following KADS actors.ANITA BOUND as MOTHER SUPERIOR a feisty overweight Sophie Tucker type, who cannot resist the spotlight.LUCY EYRE as SISTER MARY HUBERT the Mistress of the Novices and second in command, who has eyes for the top job.KIM TOLHURST as SISTER ROBERT ANNE. A street-wise tough character from Brooklyn, and a constant source of aggravation for Mother Superior.KYLIE LANDWEHR as SISTER MARY AMNESIA. This unfortunate nun lost her memory after a crucifix fell on her head.EMILY LYONS as SISTER MARY LEO, the novice, who has entered the convent with a burning ambition to be the first nun ballerina.
