Well the 1999 AGM has come and gone. NOT a very big turn-out, maybe St. V. had something to do with that! However all the refreshments went so something was right.New committee very similar to the 'old' (surprise surprise)al least we have youth at the helm.Jarrod Buttery is Pres with Kimberley Shaw as Vice/Pres. Secretary Norma Davis, Treasurer Geoffrey Leeder. Committee: Beryl Silvester, Brenda Stanley, Sandra Martin,Terry Hackett, Davids Young & Crewes and a welcome to Stan Brannick from Harbour.One of my pet projects for this year is to compile a proper data-base of theatres, both amateur & professional with details of seating, cost, facilities, contacts etc. I have already circulated a simple questionnaire to those local clubs who possess their own facilities. Many thanks to those who have replied so far. I shall be tackling Schools, local councils next. Any information on local halls with suitable facilities most welcome.
